academic Network user accounts

Faculty may request an account to access a drive on the academic network (drive letter K:) to store course materials that are accessible to all students on campus.  Note: This account will also be used to author content on the academic Web server (www1.brcc.edu).

User Name

Your user name is last acdbrcc\lastname+first initial. For example, John Doe's academic user name is acdbrcc\doej

Password

You will be assigned a password for the academic server that is different from your administrative network password and will not expire.

Change Password

You can change your academic account password online: https://www1.brcc.edu/secure/Default.htm

The secure site requires a login using your existing academic account:

Username: acdbrcc\lastname+first initial
Password:*******

Note: If you are prompted to choose a digital certificate after logging in, click the OK button.
