Administrative network drive
Employees are provided a home directory on the BRCC
administrative network for storing documents. The drives
are backed up each evening on tape. Network space is
limited and should be managed by users to maximize space.
Large graphics, videos, etc., should be managed through zip
disks, CDs, etc.
Administrative On-Campus Access
Log in to your office computer with the BRCC domain, your
assigned network username (br+first 4 letters of last name+first
initial) and password:
Username: brcc\brxxxxx
Password: ********
After you are logged in, you will see your home directory
under Network Drives in My Computer. It will be assigned
to drive F: and will display as brxxxxx on 'brafsv2\ADMUsers\Home'
(F:). Clicking on My Documents will also take you directly to
your home directory.
Note: See Remote Access for off-campus access.
Classroom/Lab Access
Classrooms and labs are on the BRCC academic network. If
faculty members need to access course materials stored on the
administrative network (F: drive) from a presentation station in
a classroom or lab, they will need to use the Virtual Private
Network (VPN) to reach the administrative network (see
Remote
Access instructions). You can also use remote access
to access your administrative network drive from home.
