Application Process

Effective January 1, 2007, Blue Ridge Community College began accepting applications for all full-time classified, full-time faculty and regular wage positions online through the Department of Human Resources' Recruitment Management System (RMS). Paper applications will no longer be accepted for these types of positions.

First-Time Applicants

You will need to create an application profile in RMS. We recommend that you click on the RMS User Reference Guide (PDF) to download directions to assist you in creating an application and applying for a job.

Returning Applicants

Click https://jobs.agencies.virginia.gov (opens new window) to log in to the RMS home page to search for jobs, edit an existing application profile, apply for new jobs without re-entering application information, and/or review the status of positions for which you have previously applied.

Application for Employment

This paper application is only to be used for BRCC wage and adjunct positions which are designated as not being recruited through the state’s electronic Recruitment Management System (opens new window). All full-time classified, full-time faculty, and regular wage positions are posted on the state’s Recruitment Management System and all application materials for these positions must be submitted electronically through this system.
