Learning Assistance Center (LAC)
Effective November 1, 2006, all students
using the LAC for testing must provide a photo
ID at the time of the test.
The Learning Assistance Center (LAC) supports learners in BRCC's
instructional programs through peer tutoring, testing, and
self-directed learning.
Hours
The LAC is open on regularly scheduled
semester days as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours of operation vary between semesters,
and during semester breaks. When LAC services are needed during these times,
please call extension 2254 to verify operating hours.

Equipment
- 20 computer workstations (can be used as
overflow from library is not being used for testing).
- TV/VCR units with headphones
- Cassette Players
Rooms
- Assistive technology
- General tutoring
The LAC administers the College Preparedness Test (CPT).
A photo ID must be provided before the test can be taken.
